Mode 01 · Start of day

Prepare — before the market opens.

The pre-market ritual where discipline starts: rate your state, set hard limits, arm the automation, and choose the setups you’re allowed to trade.

The job

Decide the terms of the day before the day begins.

Consistent traders don’t improvise their limits at 9:31. Before the first order, four functions have to happen: assess whether you should trade at all, set the hard numbers you’ll trade within, arm the automation that will hold you to them, and choose which setups you’re allowed to take. Prepare gives each function its own module.

Start My Day

The daily ritual

A short structured setup that creates the day’s journal entry before the market can create it for you. You rate your mood and energy (1–10) — and if you’re in a risky state, revenge mode, FOMO, frustration, fatigue, the app tells you so before a single order exists.

  • A written goal for the day, plus hard numbers: max trades, max daily loss, profit target, max position size.
  • Focus areas — patience, discipline, entry timing — carried through the whole session.
  • A rules checklist you tick to confirm you’ve reviewed your own trading rules.
  • Planned strategies and market notes, so tonight’s report can compare plan against reality.
  • Pre-trade, in-trade, and post-trade checklists plus a mental-state check that runs during the day — and an always-present Lock Trading button.
Module 02

Risk Rules

Automatic trade management

Rules the system enforces on your live positions automatically, checking roughly every seven seconds. Set them here, calmly, in the morning — and they work every trade you place, without asking how you feel:

  • Breakeven — once a trade is X pips in profit, the stop moves to entry. It can no longer lose.
  • Trailing stop & profit lock — the stop follows price; set percentages of profit get locked at set levels.
  • Max loss per trade — auto-close when a position’s loss passes your dollar limit. Plus time-based exits, partial closes, and 1R/commission breakeven.
  • Session rules that block new trades — max trades per day, max daily loss, max open positions, max size, allowed trading hours. A status card shows what’s active and every action taken.
Module 03

Risk Profile

Personal guardrails

Deeper protections that describe you, not just today: daily loss limit, drawdown limit, max consecutive losses, quiet hours, revenge-trade blocks. And one deliberately asymmetric rule that changes everything:

Making a protection stronger takes effect immediately. Weakening or removing one only takes effect after a mandatory cool-off — often 6 to 24 hours, set by you.

You cannot dismantle your own safety net in the heat of a losing streak. Pending changes show a countdown and can be cancelled; every change is logged.

Module 04

Strategies

The playbook

Define your named setups — London Session Breakout — with timeframes, sessions, instruments, entry and exit rules, and risk parameters. Every trade gets tagged to a strategy, which is what lets Analyze answer the only question that matters about a playbook: which of these actually makes money? Win rate, profit factor, best and worst trade — and how disciplined you are about sticking to the script.

Flows in

Yesterday’s AI action plan arrives from Analyze, pre-loading your focus areas — so prep starts from evidence, not memory.

Flows out

Limits and rules armed here are enforced live in Execute. Planned strategies become the tags on every trade. The day’s journal entry is already open before your first order.

Next in the loop — Mode 02

Execute

The terms are set. Now trade inside them — with a terminal built for precision and an engine holding the line.

Tomorrow’s discipline is decided tonight.

Run Start My Day once and feel the difference a prepared session makes — the app will hold the line from there.
